towel smells bad, room quite dirty, any goods or equipment seems like old and never been cleaned such as water tap, shower, hand railing on balcony, and water in the pool was so cloudy.

What was the highlight of Oak Tree Emerald Semarang

A very comfy retreat located in the Candi residential area of Semarang.

Very comfy resort surrounded by many trees and therefore giving it a natural retreat character. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. I particularly like the wooden floor and all the natural materials used. The team is very friendly and helpful, it would be difficult to sigle them out by name. Aya is very busy meeting guests to inquire about their well-being and experience at the hotel, I enjoyed the conversations with her very much. But all others are really helpful, professional and nice too. Last but not least, a nice gesture was the welcome amenities with a personalized welcome letter that included my picture (lucky they got the right guy!). To all the team: great job, keep it going

A few things to improve: coffee at breakfast could be better, perhaps a small espresso machine would be a welcome addition. In the bathroom there are only bath towels, maybe a hand or a face towel would add some comfort. If the website was a bit more user friendly, I would have booked directly. But now I have their WhatsApp so that I can book directly next time.

The hotel is quite dirty, or may I say they didn't clean it properly. The bedsheet has blood stain on it, the towels are smell and not so white anymore. The bathroom's drainage is so poor.. The restaurant windows very dirty, lots of sipder web, got dead fly beside my dining table.. The pool not so clear, and so much smell of caporite. The parking lot were wet and puddled after rain. Outside my room there's couple of spoon and fork just laid there and no hotel staff see it nor clean it! Very disgusting. We checked ourselves out early before the check out time. There's my honest opinion so far.. I don't know maybe because I've got promosion price so they put me at the room on the 1st floor.

I expected more of a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it is too outdated for a 4 star rating. For example the wifi was very slow or mostly not working at all. Also the bathtub and rest of the room could use some renovation / fresh look.

Super Nice staff. Awesome beds Very attentive 24/7 Great breakfast both local and Western Really nice pools.

For me the steep road to the "main road" was a minus since I have a walking disability, but hey take a grab and you'll be where ever you want to go in no time Maybe there should be an option to get two key cards so the airco can stay on but that's not really a negative just something to consider Another thing to consider might be some more dishes added to the menu for dinner time not just the 2 months favorites but some easy dishes like gado gado (nasi pecel)

Booked this hotel because almost all hotels in SRG were fully booked due to carnival event. Our superior room is old, dark, gloomy and has no window. It is totally different from the photos. No hair dryer in the room, I called the reception and it took 20 minutes for them to send it to the room. They requested deposit for additional room key. Staffs are slow and not well trained. Breakfast area is dirty and the food is horrible. We expect to leave as soon as we step into the hotel.

All the staff from (gardener, security, room boy, waiters) very help-full especially for my husband’s need (using wheel chair)

The room is not sound proof, the restaurant is not easy to reach for disable, need to change the linen and towel some a lot of spot , bath tub need handle for disable

The Hotel located at high land with a quiet environment with a nice view, the swimming pool and bar location is the best part of the hotel

the facility is standard with the bathroom without bathtub and hairdryer, the gym is not operational due to maintenance

Perfect for a getaway place

The property was quiet and remote. Lots of green area and the air was fresh. The king bed was very comfy.

The room has a powerful wood smell. The bathroom sadly was not clean (there was a used towel inside the cabinet). The room has two small windows but it was covered with sticker so, no view.

The room was clean n comfort They have a lot of TV channels

The hotel is far from any restaurant It seems the construction have not completed yet. The hotel floor need to be completed by carpet. I borrow the praying mat and mukena, but the properties were not in good condition.

Good breakfast, clean and nice rooms. Nice outdoor facilities.

The view of the area was great.

The view of the area was great. Fresh air.

The bath tub and the pool is unhygienic and dirty. We had to ask the hotel staff for hand towels and bath mats. There aren't any access from the basement to the hotel so we had to go through the stairs and parking lot to the hotel entrance. The standards of the breakfast is normal and the service is quite slow
